CISD Community:
I know that many of you have felt and heard of the impact of COVID-19 and the Omicron variant in recent days, and I’m reaching out to share information and reminders that may be useful to you as we prepare to return to school next week.
CISD COVID Protocols
I am aware that the CDC has recently adjusted its recommendations regarding asymptomatic patients and quarantines. At this time, we don’t anticipate changes to our district’s protocols, which are outlined at following link https://www.clarksvilleisd.net/49539_1. I will visit with the right individuals both inside and beyond our district once we return to discuss any needed adjustments.
I am asking all students that tested positive for COVID-19 during this break to share that information. Although school itself is scheduled to begin on Wednesday January 5th. All staff will report back on January 4th for critically needed professional development and will take campus phone calls regarding your student’s health status.
Happy New Year and I simply cannot wait to get back at it in January.
